Counselling Services
We provide counselling for the seasons of life. Our clients consult us on a wide variety of concerns including: depression and anxiety; grief, loss and bereavement; trauma; career and work challenges; back-to-work counselling; parenting dilemmas, and a broad range of mental health concerns. Almost half of our work is with couples and relationship issues. We enjoy working with teens and young adults.
We approach the counselling relationship with a deep respect for the people of all ages who consult us. Clients are often sharing what matters most to them at a vulnerable time in their lives. We listen carefully, so as to understand people as separate from their problems. Once a problem, conflict or troubling behaviour is understood, we help clients heal, make needed changes and feel better. We share our professional opinion on the source and solution of problems and offer coaching to learn new personal and relationship skills.
In our experience, most clients achieve successful outcomes in six-eight sessions. The majority of our referrals come from satisfied clients and their health care professionals.
